GOD IS LOVE; His Love Makes All The Difference in The World.”
We can always & forever trust GOD & HIS WORD. Life can become quite interesting. There is a marvelous spiritual journey that awaits us. For God continually grows us in His grace, wisdom and understanding. You must learn to be able to “STAND” upon HIS WORD. Many times others are sitting on the fence waiting to see what will happen. Life will present tests & trials. It increasingly becomes cavernously deep. To better understand life you will need to know the Lord and His Word. Fret not! For with the help of the Lord you can prevail.
God has given us His Holy Spirit His Comforter. The Comforter is His Spiritual Guide to lead us to all truth. His Word is truth. It teaches us how to better understand the meaning of life. Daily we have the choice to seek His Will and Way. Or we can choose the way of the world. God’s Way is the Narrow Path that leads to Eternal Life with Him.
We are thankful as believers for God’s marvelous omnipresence. We know without doubt that He is always with us wherever we are or go. We have learned: “HOW TO LEAN & DEPEND ON CHRIST JESUS!”
GOD DOES NOT LIVE IN A BUILDING MADE BY HANDS.
It is an honorable thing if you desire to designate a place of worship for the Church and or unbelievers to assemble. Unbelievers as well. He does not require this of everyone… Read Acts 17. It is a choice to build a place of worship. Know, God does hold you accountable for what you do or allow during worship… But one must also know that God does not live in a building made by the hands of man. He has made this clear in His WOrd. GOD has but One Universal Church. His Church consists of a diversity of cultures, and people of all colors and cultures from all throughout the world.
REMEMBER; JESUS IS COMING BACK FOR HIS CHURCH
JESUS is not coming back into the millions of brick and mortar buildings when He returns. It is important to know that God lives within the hearts of HIS believers who are HIS CHURCH! His Kingdom resides with us who believe! Yes, Christ Jesus will return for His Church that remains at the appointed time. No on knows eactly when this will be. But we are to live in daily expectation of His arrival. Many transition from earth to Him daily… However; whenever He returns the entire world will know. For HE will be visible to ALL up in the sky. Even those who pierced Jesus in His side will see Him! For HIS CHURCH those of us who still remain on the earth, will be caught up to meet HIM in the air.
CORRECTION IS A PART OF LOVE
Today, we have so many different denominations, non denominations and assemblies. There is an element of division throughout them because of the various chosen modes of worship. Each vary in their beliefs and practices. This is because of man/woman not GOD! All throughout the Word the Lord gives instructions, rebukes, directions, corrections and encouragement to His Church. God’s true Church is led and given guidance by His Holy Spirit.
“… I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR HEARTS, AND I WILL BE UNTO THEM A GOD AND THEY SAHLL BE TO ME A PEOPLE: AND THEY SHALL NOT TEACH EVERY MAN HIS NEIGHBOUR, AND EVERY MAN HIS BROTHER SAYING, KNOW THE LORD FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST. FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGTEOUSNESS, AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR INIQUITIES WILL I REMEMBER NO MORE…” “ HEBREWS 8
The New Covenant Sanctuary; “But CHRIST being come A HIGH PRIEST of good to come, by a great and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is to say, not of the building… “ Hebrews 9
“WE NEED TO PRAY!”
The Lord gives us the freedom to choose. I often discuss this in detail throughout the many narratives I have written… It is important to know GOD’S WORD for yourself. This way you will not be; “tossed and turned with every wind of doctrine.”
Our hope is in the Lord!
We are no doubt living in perilous times. It is important to know that GOD’S WORD is being fulfilled. As my Pastor/Husband says; “ We are living in a world that is going down a slippery slope… ” Put praise be to GOD we have victory, through our Lord & Savior Christ Jesus. Know that regardless of what comes our way we can depend on the Lord.
His Word is necessary Spiritual Food for our mind, body & soul. It will not return void! “GOD IS LOVE!” His Love, corrects, protects, directs as well as rebukes. There is nothing stronger than GOD’S LOVE!
It is important to daily develop an up close intimate and personal relationship with the Lord through Christ Jesus. In Him you will discover spiritual strength and patience. Patience is part of the Fruit of His Spirit. As you embrace His Word you become FREE of the shackles of life. Because, you also are continually growing in His grace; You realize that your life is forever in Him. Now through eternity.
Spending time with the Lord is important!
It is important to daily spend time with the LORD in HIS WORD. This way the LORD will not be a stranger whenever or if you are Blessed to see Him face to face. This will happen only, if you sincerely BELIEVE AND ACCEPT CHRIST JESUS into YOUR HEART as YOUR LORD & SAVIOR! Therefore, daily above all seek the LORD above all else and seek His Will and His Way. God rewards those who diligently seek Him.
KNOW CHRIST JESUS IS COMING BACK FOR HIS CHURCH!
Know this; “tomorrow is not promised.” Today; is a precious “GIFT” from the Lord! Begin to daily; “Pray Without Ceasing!” all throughout your day. Take Praise Breaks. And embrace God’s principles. This is how you stay connected to to the Lord. This is how you grow in His Grace. God can properly fill any void that you have in your life. Live each day as though you are expecting Christ Jesus to return.
You will also learn that you are never alone.
Know that God has created each of us. He never intended for us to become mere puppets. You have been created for a purpose. It is your choice to discover His purpose for you. God has instilled within each one of us a unique temperament. It is coded into your DNA. Yes, you live in a body and you have a mind and a soul. Your body is temporal. But your soul will live throughout eternity somewhere? You want to know where your final destination will be. Therefore, It is very important to get to know our Creator.
Truly having the Lord in our life is comforting. Life becomes an ever unfolding journey. We need to daily partake in God’s spiritual food for your mind, body & soul. It can sustain us and fill any void. In His Word you can discover and be assured that you are never alone. God’s word is alive! For God will never leave nor forsake us. It is through patience that you possess your soul.
Having GOD within our lives makes all the difference in the world. “For you, created my inmost being; you knit me together in my Mother’s womb. I praise YOU because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; and YOUR works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Psalm 119
THE LORD HAS BEEN OUR “GOOD SHEPHERD!”
HOLY FATHER, YOUR ARE THE ALPHA & THE OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END. YOU ARE THE FIRST & THE LAST & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN. IN YOU WE CAN DISCOVER EVERYTHING THAT WE WILL EVER NEED. TRULY YOU ARE FAITHFUL! YOU ARE THE FATHER OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB. YOU ARE THE FATHER OF US! WE WILL FOREVER GIVE YOU THE GLORY, HONOR & PRAISE. WE PRAISE AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR MARVELOUS OMNIPRESENCE. FOR; “IT IS IN YOU THAT WE LIVE AND MOVE AND HAVE OUR BEING… ACTS 18
Yes and most of all remember; “WE NEED TO PRAY!“

What makes the difference?

God is Love!
God is the creator and sustainer of life. Everything that you will ever need for life, daily living and eternal life you can discover in the Lord. Why? Because, “God is Love,”His love is what makes all the difference in the world.
“We rise each morning to thank God for His Eternal Love. His love never ends. As you draw closer to Him love continues to flourish. We are forever grateful to the Lord for; “… Leading us on the Path of Righteousness for His Namesake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear NO evil for thou are with me. Thy rod and thy staff comfort me…” Psalm 23. Thank You Lord for being: “A Solid Rock Foundation!”
Holy Father You are truly forever, “The GOOD SHEPHERD!”
We are living in a time when some of everything is going on all throughout this world. God is Love, His Love is what makes all the difference in the world. Our faith in God is what continuously sustains us. And we know that without doubt we can always trust God and His Word. Each day is an opportunity to draw closer to the Lord. One of the most important things you should know is; “God is Love!” And correction is a part of His love.
Within His Word is a plethora of spiritual wisdom. As we study His Word the Lord implants it within our hearts and places it in the recesses of our mind. His Holy Spirit brings it forth when necessary. God’s Word is “A Lamp unto our feet and a Light unto our path. ” Psalm 119
Thank You Lord!
Praise and thank the Lord for saving me as a young child. It has been quite interesting being a part of His Church all of my life. I have learned that it is important to honor and worship God. For He has grown me in His grace, love, wisdom and understanding and is continuously shaping and molding me in His image. God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world. I am thankful to Him for freeing me, correcting, directing and protecting me. For it is only by HIS grace we are SAVED!
I thank Him for His Holy Spirit; His Comforter that He bestows upon us to lead us to all Truth. We together praise Him for His gift of eternal life. Because of this we are assured a place with Him in Heaven. We together are forever grateful to know that; “God is Love!” There is much contentment knowing that GOD is also omniscient. He knows absolutely everything about everyone who has ever been created. I know without doubt that nothing, nor no one or no thing can separate me/us from Him or His everlasting Love.
Truly having the Lord in your life will or can make all the difference in the world.
I am thankful to be married to a dedicated Man of God. He whole heartedly loves the Lord and His Word! Because of this he does not compromise His Word for the approval of man nor the acceptance of others. God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world. We are thankful for the “Oneness” and the freedom we have been given in the Lord! “…Where the Spirit of the Lord is; there is liberty!” II Corinthians 3 One must not use his/her liberty for a cloak of maliciousness. God teaches us how to firmly “STAND” upon HIS WORD!
Together we share a love for the Lord. We realize that love is a precious gift from the Lord. It is what keeps us connected to Him. In Him by His grace we have a “Solid Rock Foundation!” Without the Lord we know that life really has no purpose. Neither is there any promise of eternal life in Heaven.
Be Encouraged!
I want to encourage you to get to know the Lord in a personal intimate way. God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world. For in Him you can discover your true purpose in life. God has created each of us to be originals. This is true of everyone on earth. Each day is a day to “Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you.” We have committed to daily share, the Gospel and live it out loud. It is our desire to live each day to please the Lord. Christianity is our daily lifestyle. He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. We know that God has created us to glorify Him!
We have been able to with the help of the Lord to preach, proclaim, teach, share, support and send others, as well as ourselves to; “GO YE THEREFORE…” We have traveled to many places throughout the world. There are many invaluable life lessons we have learned and continue to do so. God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world.GOD allows some people in your life to show you what not to do. Pray for discernment. The Lord is all His Word says He is and so much more. This is why I often say I am thankful for the life we have in the the Lord! We do not take this or one another for granted.
Worship & Praise has always been a part of our lives…
We are forever grateful the Lord has allowed us the opportunity to journey both far & near. Together we have experienced many different modes of Worship & Praise in the midst of many different cultures and environments throughout the world. There is a “Blessed Assurance” knowing that we belong to Him and that He is with us everywhere we go. All throughout this world, His creation speaks to our hearts and vociferously proclaims His omnipresence. We all must get better at listening.
We are Thankful!
Each day we are thankful for God’s Love and the Blessings that were spoken over us when we married. It was by God’s providence that we were destined to be married. We remain grateful for the Lord’s Blessing upon our union with (5) five adult children, their spouses and (21) twenty-one grandchildren. God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world.
Our ever increasing family has allowed us to be even more aware first-hand of the spiritual warfare that persists and is going on within this world. It cloaks itself in so many ways… One must learn to: “Be Still and Know!” This is necessary to be able to detect and discern the things that are not of GOD.
Spending time with God is important
There are many entrapments, pitfalls and strongholds that will attempt to attach to you. Be aware and be wise! They are designed to distract us from daily living in God’s presence. Life is a precious gift from God. So, make spending time alone with the Lord a priority. God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world. We as believers are to live each day as though we are expecting our Lord to return. It is absolutely necessary to know the Lord and His Word to be able to navigate through it all and remain on the Narrow Path.
We are blessed to have raised our now adult children within a balanced home of joy, peace & love with minimal contention. We have also together experienced growing pains. But over all life has been still content in the Lord. We could not have done this without the Lord. They know without that; “God is Love!” There was consistency, understanding, fun, structure & discipline. By God’s Grace there is not any doubt in them to whom our Lord & Savior Christ Jesus is.
This is our greatest legacy. Our children grew up knowing we the people are God’s Church and we gather together to Worship & Praise the LORD with others in many different assemblies and places of worship. We also realize that not everyone believes this…
We need to Pray!
We remain prayerful for this generation, God’s Church and the world at large. God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world. We realize that this generation as well as our grandchildren are facing a world that encourages compromising God’s principles by omission and commission. But they know that there are always consequences for our choices. Today, many alternative lifestyles are encouraged, supported, welcomed and permitted. This is true inside and outside of God’s Church.
Many of the ways of the world have gradually crept in the midst of God’s Church. But His principles for us still the same. Lord have mercy! This also gives me/us the motivation to encourage them as well as others to holdfast to the Lord’ s Word. For this world wants to take you out on a limb that leads to the broad road… Please, know GOD’S WORD for yourself!
God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world.
The WORD of GOD and the WORD in SONG have been dear to us. They are both effective in delivering the GOSPEL MESSAGE… For years we have traveled many miles back and forth to worship. The Word & Music have always been an integral part of our home lives. Music is a language of its own. It is important to daily Worship & Praise the Lord. For we will forever praise the Lord throughout eternity. The Bible is clear that the Church was inclusive within the homes of the believers for we are His Church. It is important to give GOD his place within our daily lives…
Christianity is a daily lifestyle. There is nothing anywhere in the world or this universe that GOD our Creator is not aware of. This is why it is wise to “Seek ye first His Kingdom and His Righteousness…” Mathew 6 For there is genuine “Security & Significance” & Peace knowing that He is Omniscient, Omnipresent and Omnipotent!
For us it has been; “Worldwide Ministry Beyond as well as Inside the Walls!” As long as the Lord has each of us on this side of Heaven it is to continue to grow in His grace, understanding and wisdom. God is Love, His love is what makes all the difference in the world. Whenever we fulfill His purpose within our lives; He will call each of us home to transition to life forevermore with Him in Heaven. For this we are eternally grateful. Or we who remain will be “caught up to meet CHRIST JESUS in the air.” Everyone will bear witness to His return. Even those who pierced our LORD will witness HIS glorious spectacular return!
The Call upon our lives.
We are thankful that the LORD has called us as His; Elders/Ministers & Ambassadors. We do not take this lightly. There is no need to compete with others. And nor do we attempt to make proselytes after ourselves. However, we do proclaim, teach, preach and daily “live out loud” the Gospel of Christ Jesus. Each day we commit to and thrive to live by His Word. It behooves us to daily keep in mind that Christianity is an everyday lifestyle. We therefore encourage all to know Christ Jesus, embrace His Word and the power of His Resurrection!
We have witnessed on occasions how many are quite territorial about their places of worship. Know that there is also much spiritual warfare in and about GOD’S CHURCH. Many feel that the Church belongs to them. This is evident by their actions. For many it is more like a membership club. You have rights and privileges according to your delegated membership status. It is important to know that title to the building does not give you ownership to God’s Church. For we the people are His Church.
Jesus is coming back for His Church

What Does It Mean To “Love” ?
January 28, 2011 by DeBorrah K. Ogans

What does it mean to love someone? Does it mean you give them everything they want? Does it mean letting someone run over you? Does it mean you tell them what they want to hear? Does it mean you never make them angry? Does love ever end? Webster defines love in this way; strong affection for another based on kinship ties. Example: maternal love for a child. Attraction based on sexual desire. Admiration or benevolence. Warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion. A beloved person: Darling. Brotherly concern for others. To hold dear. To feel a lover’s passion, devotion, or tenderness. An unselfish concern of God for man. The scriptures tell us that “God is Love.” Tell me can you really truly love someone and not know God? Or better yet to the degree you know God; does it help you love in a profound way? According to I Corinthians LOVE…is PATIENT…is KIND…does not ENVY… does not BOAST… Is not PROUD…is not SELFISH. Keeps no record of wrong doings…does not DELIGHT in EVIL…but REJOICES in TRUTH. Always protects. Always TRUSTS. Always HOPES. Always PERSEVERES. Does your definition of love encompass Biblical principles?
I have found that love is a term that many people use loosely. If you listen clearly they usually base love on doing or not doing something for them. Love is not giving someone what they want. Love is not letting people run over you. Love is not telling people what they want to hear. If you love them you will speak the truth in love. Just know when you truly love people they will get angry with you sometimes! Their perspective of you will modify. You are no longer the kind wonderful person that they thought you were. All of a sudden you will be perceived as being cold, uncaring, and selfish. They will accuse you of not really loving them when you don’t give them what they want. Don’t fret! God knows your heart. In the meantime pray for them. Begin to practice healthy boundaries with them.
There are many angry people who will chew you out at the drop of a hat. They have oodles of pent up unresolved anger. Cancer, high blood pressure, eating disorders, temper tantrums and depression are just a few results of stored anger. It’s okay for them to have a tantrum. But you are expected to appease them. Anger is natural. Encourage them to find healthy ways to express their anger. Suppressing anger is unhealthy. Just know it takes more control to not respond than to throw a fit. Did you know you can be angry and sin not?
By the way you must let go of some people you love. I am not talking about letting go like in divorce. Divorce occurs because two adults are not able to work through whatever problems they are experiencing. They are not able to keep the commitment they made to each other for whatever reason. Often this is because they really didn’t think things through first. Many couples are unaware of the necessary tenacity for an enduring marriage. (But that’s another column). When I say letting go I mean putting them in hands of the Lord. Allow Him to intervene. There are those who just enjoy a habitat of tension and confusion. Did you know you could break unhealthy cycles by employing better ways to resolve conflict? Avoiding conflict is not healthy. Allowing a cooling off period before discussing the problem may be helpful. Words spoken in a fit of anger can be very damaging. Letting go and allowing them space to feel the consequences for their actions can be beneficial to their spiritual maturity.
The world is a very inconsistent place. God’s standards are not respected nor appreciated. God must be the central focus of your life for true successful living. The prophets pleaded over and over with God’s people to return to his principles. God wants to be first in your life. God has instructed us to; “Hear O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord. And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thine soul, and with all thine might. And thou shalt teach them diligently unto they children and talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest……. (Deuteronomy 6) God loves us and is faithful. His WORD is true.
<
God always allows you to choose. It is the unselfish concern of God for man that explains love in a nutshell. God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son to die for us. To redeem us from the power of sin. In order to free us from sin's captivity. He laid down His life for us! There is no greater love than this? Does grace give us the right to willfully sin? God forbid! Out of spiritual ignorance we support all the wrong things in people. We literally "love them to death". When they are six feet under we cry, rant, rave and shout. But why wait until it's to late? Why do we allow people we say we care about to slowly die little by little right before our faces? Why not do something while the blood is still running warm in their veins? It's because we don't want to hurt their feelings. Right! We don't want to hurt their feelings but what about hurting their life? We prefer to take away their motivation to change by comforting them in sin. Motive is always key in whatever you do. Some people have been loved so wrong for so long they can't recognize true love.
We can not change anybody. But we can stop supporting what we know is wrong. Some thing's will just not be understood on this side of heaven! Believe it or not God does not support wrong! I don't care if you have two or two thousand or two million people to support you if it's wrong it's wrong. No one is above reproach. Just try reading Jeremiah. Look at what obedience and love he had for God and His principles! For over 40 years he pleaded with Israel. They ignored a great opportunity for spiritual, moral and ethical maturity. They still chose to justify their sins. Did you know that they did not repent in Jeremiah's time? I wonder if they thought Jeremiah was too negative and needed a personality adjustment? Just imagine the rejection and ridicule he received for taking a stance against sin! Jeremiah didn't just talk the talk. He walked it! He was steadfast! God is about freedom! Sin is a slavemaster. Did you know that it is easier for many to believe a lie rather than believe the truth? God is a Spirit of Truth. "They that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth"!
God will bless and keep you in any and all circumstances. Remember GOD is Love! God is eternal! "Stand fast in the liberty that Christ has set you free and be not entangled with a yoke of bondage! Sin is bondage. The Love, freedom, and security that God provides is priceless! Get off the broad road. Discover that narrow road that only a few find. Commit to making a conscious effort to sin less and love with Godly Love! HALLELUJAH!
“Love Is Patient, Love Is Kind. Love is felt most when it’s Genuine”.
