FAITH is NOW!

Faith Is Now!Blue Skies

“Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1. Faith is so important that it is mentioned over three hundred times in the BIBLE. Faith means to have a firm persuasion. Having Faith means much more than just to say you believe. It goes much deeper! Faith is developed through Prayer, Devotion, and Bible Study and the actual application of God’s Word to your daily life. Faith is also part of the Lord’s spiritual armor. It is “By Faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what is visible.” Hebrews 11:3. Faith is NOW not after the fact has materialized! “For we walk by Faith not by sight.” II Corinthians 5:7

When you truly trust God your Faith will see you through any and all circumstances or situations. Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, Moses and Rahab, are just a few examples of the many that trusted and had Faith in God. Deborah, Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel and the prophets beheld many miracles, faced jeers, were stoned, saw walls fall, led many in victories, were persecuted, misunderstood, and mistreated. Yet they all accomplished their life purpose by trusting the Lord. Notice how they all sincerely aspired to live in the presence of the Lord. They had a personal and deep intimate personal relationship with Him. Hebrews commends them all for their Faith; “yet none of them received what had been promised.” It is by Faith we are strengthened inwardly! Jesus Christ dwells in our hearts through Faith.

FAITH is NOW!

Hebrew defines Faith as something you cannot see. “Faith without works is dead.” When your Faith is truly in GOD you trust that in His time He will fulfill whatever it is that He has said or promised. Take a moment to take an open and honest personal inventory of everything that is happening in your life. Guess what God already knows as well. Despite your circumstances; good, bad, or indifferent you can rest assured that your Faith makes all the difference in the world as to how you will now proceed.

In order to successfully run the race of life we must keep our focus on the Lord. Laying aside any weight or sin helps us to run with endurance. When life hurdles appear God will impart to you His patience and direction. You can not change anything that has happened; “it is what it is.” As you fix your eyes on “Jesus, the Author and perfector of our Faith” He will help you arise to the challenges as well as the celebrations of life. Your daily trust and reliance on God is where your true security and significance should reside. This will give you sure footing and strong solid rock foundational spiritual roots to help you withstand the storms of life. Your joy in the Lord is where you will find strength when you keep your eyes on Him. The joy of the Lord is not contingent on your circumstance. FAITH is NOW!

The key to being a Christian is the Faith we have in Jesus Christ. Do you know the importance of His sacrificial death on the cross that atoned for our sins? It was so we could live life to please Him! Did you know our lives, our homes, our marriages, families and our worship should reflect we are His children? How do we do this? Titus tells us that “You must teach what is in accord with sound doctrine. Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self controlled, and sound in Faith, love and in endurance. To teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good…”

Know that GOD does not live in a building made by hands.  Although we can come together to worship him and acknowledge Him as GOD.  Our GOD lives within the hearts of the believers all throughout the world who are HIS CHURCH.  We are the ecclesia; meaning called out ones. The natural man or woman does not accept, value, nor understand the things of God. This is why the Word says to “let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 2.  In order to understand the things of God it is crucial that you lay aside your way and your will and let His Word be a “lamp unto your feet and a Light to your path.” Psalm 119.

Having the proper perspective will teach you how very important it is to live life to its fullest and study His Word for His approval and not the approval of man. This is why we are told to “Trust in the Lord will all of our hearts and lean not to our own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct our path.” Proverbs 3. Too often God is an after thought or optional choice when dealing with life. This compromise often has favorable results with man; yet results in moving you away from God. Learn to wait on God and patiently seek His way. He can keep us on the Narrow Path that is less traveled.

God’s way will give you peace and contentment that surpasses the understanding of man! God wants to be the Primary Force in your life. Being a Christian is really a chosen daily  lifestyle. God does not force His way upon you. Nor does He manipulate.  Faith produces commitment and faithfulness. You also know the importance of honoring  your marriage vows as well. You made those vows not only to your spouse but to God.   It means to sincerely and earnestly attempt to live life to please God. Commence to truly daily live,  Pray, Preach, Proclaim, Sing, Worship and Praise Him. It really makes all the difference in the world! “LET the WORD of Christ dwell in You richly as You teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as You sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in Your hearts to God. And whatever You do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving THANKS to God the Father through Him” Colossians 3.

God always has a better way. According to Ephesians  1 He has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. As His child we have been sealed and promised the gift of His Holy Spirit. God truly is faithful you can always count on Him! Now you must trust Him and step out on Faith. Remember Faith is not something that you can see. Always remember, you must exercise patience and your Faith and trust must rely within Him.  Hebrews teaches us;  “Without Faith it is impossible to please God!”  His Word  tells us if our Faith is; “as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” Matthew 17. The key to this is you must desire His will to be done. It is with God we can do the impossible. This way He receives all the credit. Live: “To GOD be the GLORY!” God always  keeps His promises. You can fully trust God to work everything out for your good.

Always keep in mind that absolutely nothing gets by God. He knows all that is past, current and will be.  He is omniscient. Be encouraged knowing “God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.”  Know not everyone will be receptive to you.  God always knows the intents of  our hearts. It is by Faith and patience we inherit His promises. We can patiently endure whatever is necessary because we know that God in His time will work everything out for our good. It is by Faith we accept His precious gift of eternal life. One of the most important elements in life is having Faith in GOD. “Without Faith it is impossible to please Him, for he, who comes to GOD, must believe, that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11.

FAITH Keep Looking UP!

FAITH Keep Looking UP!

GOD IS FAITHFUL in His time you will reap the promises and He will give back, restore, refuel and replenish you in His time. God knows when you are sincere. We are living in interesting times. Just keep your eyes fixed on the Author and finisher of your Faith. God is able to “keep you from falling and to present you before His glorious presence without fault and with great Joy!” Jude. You can say Hallelujah anyhow!

GOD IS AWESOME; HE IS ABSOLUTELY; “AWEWONDERFUL!”

As I mentioned before Hebrews records in its “Hall of Faith” many Old Testament heroes who trusted in God and displayed their Faith in unique ways. We today, should also desire to  be honorary members of; “God’s Hall of Faith!”  Lay aside every weight and anything that hinders you from going forth in the Lord! Many seek the approval and acceptance of others.  Know that the Narrow Path is the road less traveled.  As long as we are on this side of Heaven there is more to learn.  God continually perfects us. ( which means GOD makes us complete in HIM)  God’s approval is what matters most. He knows when we are faithful to Him. He knows when we keep our vows.  When you truly believe; it will be a priority to daily live your life to please GOD! Faith results in faithfulness. Who or what are you faithful to? “Now Faith is the substance of being sure of what we HOPE for and certain of what we do not see.” FAITH IS NOW!

Getting Your Joy Back Part 2

Let the JOY of the LORD be your strength!

GOD’S TRUTH will always prevail!

You cannot change what has been, but you can move forward now seeking God’s Will for your life. You can discover the Perfect Peace that only exists in Him. God says if you seek Him with your whole heart you will find Him. As a matter of fact He is right there wherever you are. He daily gives us the freedom to invite Him into every area and all situations of our lives.

To know the TRUTH you must know GOD and HIS WORD! Do you not know that as a believer your body is the Temple where GOD resides.  His Word is what cleanses us from all unrighteousness. It sustains our souls. His Holy Spirit His Comforter can lead us to all TRUTH!

Today in these “Last Days” this is prime time for the Word of God to be shouted from the roof tops, inside, outside,  on land, by air,  by sea and the internet!  I am grateful that the Lord has allowed us  to “GO Ye Therefore…” in  as well as throughout the world. On many occasions in many different places we have been able to go forth as HIS Elders/Ministers & Ambassadors! GOD’S  WORD was never meant to just be confined to a brick and mortar building anyway. GOD is not coming back for a building. Please don’t misinterpret what I am saying. There is nothing more that I enjoy more than a spirit~ filled Worship Service… There are some beautiful fabulous sanctuaries, cathedrals, temples, worship centers and meeting places for the Church to congregate worship and assemble.

I am truly thankful

I am thankful that the Lord has allowed us to be able to worship Him in many  magnificent man made  places both large, small and mega large… But God never intended that they be full of people who are unhappy, hopeless and full of despair.  There has even been a shift in  the tenor of worship. A lot of it is about what I can get from the Lord. Or all about all of the issues one has experienced. God needs to be adored and exalted about anything that is happening. The Holy Spirit is never unaware of what is happening. God should always be our main focus in worship!  God  never intended for us to just go to church and go right back to another way of life.  Nor did He want us to live legalistically rigid  unhappy lives.

Christianity is a Daily Lifestyle! It is living by actually embracing the principles of God and applying them to your life everyday!

Do You want your JOY back?

We the people are GOD’S CHURCH! “When two are three are gathered together in HIS NAME; HE IS IN THE MIDST!” Matthew 18. GOD wants to be in all areas of all of our lives everyday! NOW through eternity you can live and be in the presence of GOD. This is NOT contingent on how many people are around you. It is your choice to live before HIM as “AN AUDIENCE of ONE!”

Do you really want to get your JOY back? Believe GOD and know and embrace the principles of HIS WORD! When GOD says HE can keep you in PERFECT PEACE; HE CAN!  Daily adorn yourself in the Armor of the Lord.

Christ Jesus came to show us a better way to live. He came to show us that GOD really does want to be the Center of our daily lives.  He intended for His Church to be an international universal family of believers  from all walks of life embracing and  daily living out loud His Living Word!  Jesus came to fulfill the law.   He sacrificed His life so we could be free. FREE to WORSHIP HIM! “In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!” To Praise Him everyday through whatever trials, tests, obstacles, distractions or land mines the enemy tries to put in your path.

CHRIST JESUS is the effulgence of GOD’S GLORY:

We live in a spiritual warzone. Why is that? For a season the earth is where the prince of the power of the air throne is. Who is that? “The prince of the power of the air” =  this refers to the devil as the leader of superhuman powers which, according to a widely held notion at this time, dwells in the earth’s atmosphere.”  (he is not in a pit) Know that he is also an imposter that lives to seduce many… No need to worry but to just be more cognizant of the things that are not of God!

CHRIST JESUS IS; The Head of HIS Church!

And He is the Head of the Body, the Church; He is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the dead, that He Himself might have first place in all things. For in Him all the fullness was pleased to dwell and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the Blood of His Cross ~ through Him, whether the ‘things on the earth or the things in the Heavens…” Colossians 1

“Who is the image of the invisible God the First Born of all creation, Because of Him all things were created, in the Heavens and on the earth, the visible and invisible, whether thrones or lordships or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through Him and unto Him. And is before all things, and all things cohere to Him.

Thank You Holy Father for Your Living Word which is our Daily Bread!

KNOW THIS; ONLY GOD IS OMNIPOTENT there is no greater power than HE THE FATHER, SON & HOLY SPIRIT! They are ALL ONE and same TRIUNE GOD. They are universally known as the HOLY TRINITY!

If you really want to know more draw closer to the Lord. Therefore, daily spend some time in His Word and give God His place within your life, home and heart: BLESS WORSHIP & PRAISE GOD &  “PRAY WITHOUT CEASING!”

Holy Matrimony – Chapter 10 – Till Death Do Us Part

February 1, 2012 by

Marriage is the first institution that God designed! Making a sincere commitment to your marriage is one of the most important decisions you can make in life. When God made Adam He made him both male and female. He took Eve out of Adam to be by his side. God is so wonderfully awesome! It was His intention to provide Adam with a compatible helpmeet to satisfy together their desires for companionship. Marriage is the ultimate partnership where two together can spiritually, physically and emotionally have there needs mutually met.

Marriage is a unique covenant agreement. Marriage is ordained by God. God intends for your marriage to last for a lifetime.

Holy Matrimony – Chapter 6 – When You Have Been Married Before

God really intended for marriage to last for a lifetime. The scriptures clearly tells us “what God has joined together let not man put asunder”! Asunder; means to not let anything pull you apart or separate you. Why do we so very often fail to seek God’s advice when seeking a mate? We instead allow our feelings and emotions to often guide us in a direction that leads to a futile destiny. In our haste for companionship we can often make commitments that really should not be. Many often marry on the rebound. Loneliness and/or rejection can compel one to enter into a relationship too soon! Hurt and pain can hurl you into a relationship to escape rejection and loneliness. Swept away and blinded by an over whelming sometimes even sensual infatuation we fall heart first into marriage. Many will fall prey to what I choose to call temporary or “intoxicating affections”. Its symptoms merely mimic true love! All too often once the blinders come off you find yourself saying “what have I done?”

Holy Matrimony – Chapter 5 – What About Sex and Intimacy ?

Intimacy is an important ingredient in a strong fulfilling marriage. Intimacy involves transparency. There is no true intimacy without being truthful with one another. It involves growing to the point you can allow your intimate personal defenses to rest. You are able to allow your spouse to inhabit the depth of your being. Together you intimately caress the intangible you. You together grow to the point you are freely able to become vulnerable. The walls come down. A pathway to the heart is established.

Marriage should consist of an ever increasing, warm endearing closeness. After all your spouse should be closer to you than anyone else. Remember the two shall be one flesh.

Don’t confuse intimacy with sex. Many people have sexual relationships and never experience intimacy. Life’s lessons can be…..

Holy Matrimony – Chapter 4 – That’s Your Responsibility

Marriage is a partnership. It is meant to be a relationship where two imperfect individuals come together that share a common bond of love. This bond is ideally meant to last “to death us do part”, for a lifetime. Many people never anticipate what it’s really like to live with someone.

Marriage is more than spending a few days together or a week or two. It should last a lifetime. Often initially the infatuation is so strong the two of you almost feel invincible. Often the couple is oblivious to the reality of it all. Thinking that their feelings will make up for their differences. Yes, differences you will have, but that’s normal. It is how you decide to resolve those differences that are important. When reality sets in they realize “I didn’t think about this or that”. Who does what? When and how often?

You wake up one morning and wonder……..

Holy Matrimony – Chapter 3 – Why Don’t You Listen ?

Did you know listening is an art? We must learn to value what each other has to say. When your partner is talking don’t mentally construct your response or rebuttal. Consciously attempt to clear your mind. Sincerely, actively and tentatively listen to what your partner is saying. Let it be your goal to attentively comprehend what they are trying to relate to you. Make it a goal to be intimately interested in what your spouse says to you.

Few people really listen to one another. Why? Because we are often so busy trying to relay our own inner self. Instead of actually listening we are often mentally constructing what we want to relay. Learn to really value what the other is trying to transmit. Even when we think we know what they are going to say. Even if it seems trivially unimportant. Allow them the freedom to express themselves. Think of it as a time to exercise patience. To love means to hear. When we attentively listen we’re saying you matter. I value what you are saying. You are important to me!

Holy Matrimony – Chapter 2 – Why Should I Submit To You ?

January 31, 2012 by

holymatrimony
When we submit we yield to the power or will of another. Submission is a humble compliant act. It is not an inferior position. It is a position in which we can learn integrity. What is integrity? Webster defines integrity as; an unimpaired condition; soundness. Adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values. Completeness.

It is only with God can one ultimately find completeness. The marital relationship is when two become one. When they leave and cleave spiritually the two should become one flesh. Notice that our physical body has two arms, two hands, two eyes, two ears, two legs and two feet. These body parts are designed to work as a team.

For example; to advance forward one foot has to step out first (unless you want to hop). Does this mean one is more important than the other? No! A symphonic cadence develops when two walk together in love.
The Bible tells us that the wife should submit to the husband in all things. This establishes our walking order. But don’t just stop there. It also tells the husband to love the wife as Christ loved the church.

Holy Matrimony – Chapter 1 – Marriage Who’s Idea Is It Anyway ?

January 31, 2012 by

holymatrimony
Marriage is for two mature responsible adults. One male and one female. Or one man and one woman created by God. It was God’s idea from the beginning of time that man and woman co-habit in a loving monogamous relationship. God formed Adam out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. He placed man in the Garden of Eden to work and care for it. He even gave man instructions. “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die”. Genesis 1: 16-17 NIV

It was God who decided that the man He created should not be alone. “The Lord God said, It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.” Genesis 2: 18 NIV. God decided that Adam needed a companion. He caused Adam to sleep deeply and extracted one of his rib bones. From this he made woman. She became bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh. Woman came out of man. She came from his side. Someone for him to love and cherish to be close to his side.

Why all the historical religious stuff? Remember anything can be religious. This is a profound spiritual truth! God is the exclusive Creator of mankind. Man and Woman came from God. Not apes. No big bang! Not evolution! Who made the first car? Who made the first stoplight? Who made the first TV? Who invented computers? Give credit where it is due! GOD made man and woman.

God’s design for marriage has not changed! The Supreme Court of the United States has voted against the WORD of GOD and has sanctioned same-sex unions. It is so very important to know that MARRIAGE GOD’S WAY WORKS!
