“A House of Prayer. (Not a hospital!)”
Many local congregations often say that the church is a hospital. If the church is a hospital; does this mean that it is a place for the sick? Then, does that mean no one ever gets well?
Think about this for a moment. Your body is the Temple of the living God. Christ Jesus did not come to build hospitals. “…He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.” John 10 He came to overcome, sin, death and the grave. And to fulfill the law and remove the enmity put in place due to the original sin. To restore us. So, we could live differently and not be shackled or tethered to sin.
Therefore, Jesus overcame all these things so that we could be made whole!
A hospital has its place in society, and has become a modern-day necessity. Hospitals are in business to make money by treating the body, but not the soul. The Church is: “A House of Prayer. (Not a hospital!)”
Prayer is our necessary essential way of communicating with God. We can do this verbally or without speaking a word. The Word teaches us to “Praying wIthout ceasing” is good. For prayer keeps us connected to God.
Heaven is God’s Throne and the earth is His footstool.
The local muliplicity of places of worship are for us to be able to gather together as believers. We can invite and welcome non believers to get to know Jesus as well. We are to honor, pray, praise, thank and worship God. As Believers we are to encourage the lost to accept Christ Jesus as their Savior and Lord and to embrace salvation. When we do so sincerely non believers can become converted and reconciled to GOD…

Just To Know Him
Song By Charles Jenkins & Fellowship Chicago
My Redeemer
Sent to a rugged cross to set me free.
My Saviour
Bared my sins, just to rescue me
My Replacement
Took my place so I wouldn’t have to die
My Provider
Now I have an ever lasting life
My Redeemer
Sent to a rugged cross to set me free.
My Saviour
Bared my sins, just to rescue me
My Replacement
Took my place so I wouldn’t have to die
My Provider
Now I have an ever lasting life
Just to know Him
Just to know Him
Jesus Christ the son of the living God
Just to know Him
Just to know Him
Jesus Christ the son of the living God
Risen Saviour
Rose from the dead so I could rise again
Awesome Ruler
Crucified just to call me friend
Hope Of Glory
One day I will get to see His face
I Am Grateful
He loved me enough to gladly take my place
Just to know Him
Just to know Him
Jesus Christ the son of the living God
Just to know Him
Just to know Him
Jesus Christ the son of the living God
Oh how he cares for you
Cares for me
Oh how he cares for you
Cares for me
Oh how he cares for you
Cares for me
Oh how he cares for you
Cares for me
I don’t know why and I can’t explain it
But the victory’s already won
By the Father’s only son
Just to know Him
Just to know Him
Jesus Christ the son of the living God
Just to know Him
Just to know Him
Jesus Christ the son of the living God
